Here's what you'll typically find in my kitchen...
chicken, fish/tuna, lean red meat, turkey,eggs, non-fat milk, soy milk, yogurt, oatmeal, whole grain cereal, whole grain breads, brown rice, yams, red potatoes, dark greens (like spinich), romain lettuce, broccoli, peppers, green beans, spelt tortillas, fresh and dried fruit, black beans, toasted soy beans, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin cookies, protein bars, protein powder.
My diet is very strict. When I am preparing for a competition, my intake of carbohydrates and fats diminish drastically.
And of course, I do have my treats now and then. My favorites are chewy candies like jelly beans, dark chocolate and peanut butter.
